I have been taking photographs since I was just six years of age, when my father, who was a member of the RSPB from 1932, and who was one of their recorders for the Romney Marsh, gave me my first Box Brownie camera.
I think that photography helps you see more, because you need to look carefully at what is around you, rather than just going from place A to B. Also you must train your eye to see interesting things that you might otherwise overlook.
I am based in Folkestone, and consider the areas of Kent and Sussex within my working range.
