More About Andy Smith professional photographer

I have been taking photographs since I was just six years of age, when my father, who was a member of the RSPB from 1932, and who was one of their recorders for the Romney Marsh, gave me my first Box Brownie camera.

I think that photography helps you see more, because you need to look carefully at what is around you, rather than just going from place A to B. Also you must train your eye to see interesting things that you might otherwise overlook.

I am based in Folkestone, and consider the areas of Kent and Sussex within my working range.

Weddings

My passion for photography took me to doing wedding photography because I feel that everyone has the desire to have a quality record of their special day and at a price that they can afford.

Training

Training is another satisfying area of my work, helping others to improve their skills, and then seeing the progress they achieve. It makes every minute spent training worth all the effort.

Prints

I have always liked to produce prints from my work, as this maximises quality. Now I print more, as I know that a lot of my prints will find a home on people's walls and give great enjoyment. If you would like to find out more about my prints then please contact me direct.

Events

I love to get asked to record people's special occasions and events as it gives me a chance to use the skills that I have built up running the training classes with the training team at Folkestone Camera Club.

Equipment

I am a totally Sony@ photographer, having three Sony@ cameras from their range to cover all my requirements. I moved to Sony as I had a range of Minolta lenses, from my film cameras which work with all the Sony@ A Mount range.

Contact Us

I would be happy to talk to anyone about a photography project, however varied, so please send me a message and I will contact you.
